Etimologia

Il genere è così denominato in onore di mwdgAlbert Tullgren, aracnologo svedese (1874-1958), che ne descrisse la specie tipo nel 1905.

Distribuzione

Le 13 specie note di questo genere sono tipiche dell'mweqAmerica meridionale, in particolare dell'mwegArgentina, della mwewBolivia e del mwfaBrasile.cite-ref-salticidae-1-0[1]

Tassonomia

Considerato un sinonimo posteriore di mwgwAkeloides mwhamwhqMello-Leitão, 1944 da uno studio dell'aracnologa mwhgGaliano del 1970cite-ref-salticidae-1-1[1].
